Improve your leadership skills: It is a matter of ensuring that we are aligned with our “why”, our purpose for doing whatever we do. Nothing will be perfect but do we feel excitement and fulfilled to do what we do or are we just going through the motions for financial reasons. There are times when you may approach a stage in your career where you’re unsure about the next steps. Should I stay or should I look for another job? Along the way everyone teaches us something and that creates other opportunities. Sometimes we simply need to fine tune what we are doing. Other times we need to change course or reinvent ourselves so we can do what we desire. You may have been in the same field for many years and you are unfulfilled or in search of something new. In my lifetime there have been numerous times I have reinvented myself. Moving from trauma nurse to healthcare administrator, administrator to insurance executive, and now to coach. It can be done if we want it and choose to seize the opportunity.
